ENDOWMENT

United Church of Christ works diligently to meet the ever-changing needs of its congregation and the community in which they live. 

We have been blessed with a generous endowment from the Jens A. Carstensen Family.  Because of this endowment, the United Church of Christ will be making significant grants to organizations addressing spiritual, physical and educational needs locally, nationally and internationally.  We have developed a process to submit a grant application to be distributed semi-anually.  Extra consideration will be given to charitable organizations that honor the intent of the Carstensens as well as projects that have or lend themselves to parish or parishioner involvement in a way that enriches and invigorates the ministry of the United Church of Christ.  Application deadlines are March 1 and September 1 of every year.  Applications are available online and are due at the Church Office.

We have also been blessed with a generous endowment from Amanda (Date) Bumann.  Because of this endowment, the United Church of Christ is able to provide college scholarships to church members annually.  Applications are available online.  For more information, contact the Church Office.
